it feels great to be me

Today, I am grateful for a truly, simply wonderful day and for the beautiful people near and far I got to spend it with. 

I am learning just because I can do something alone, doesn’t mean I should. 

I accomplished sleeping in, taking a shower, and only doing things that brought me joy. 

I delighted in celebrating my birthday, in feeling showered with love, in unexpected birthday wishes, and in cake and champagne for dinner.
