hope you have a gentle day


Today, I am grateful for the miracles that shift my perspective, the unpredictable blessings that help me find peace in the pain. 

I am learning to counterbalance negative self-talk with positive affirmations. 

I accomplished acknowledging something that happened was not ok, took action to report it to the police, reached out to people I trust to share my feelings, and made a plan to work through it with my therapist.  

I delighted in connecting with nature, in dancing barefoot through the filbert trees, and in an unexpected "happy mother's day" message from a young woman thanking me for the positive motherly role I play in her life.
