“Being scared means you’re about to do something brave.”
Today, I am grateful for the courage to do what scares me, and the comfort and joy I find when I move through my fears.
I am learning “no,” can still be a scary word for me.
I accomplished recognizing when inner child me was experiencing feelings of unworthiness, sharing those feelings with another person, self-soothing, and refocusing on how adult me was feeling in that moment.
I delighted in spending the afternoon with a new friend, in seeing a bald eagle, blue heron, and an egret, in a spectacular sunset drive, and in being greeted by a herd of baby deer when I arrived home.
