the universe has my back

Today, I am grateful for the unexpected. In the past, I allowed fear, worry, and doubt to color my perspective, which led me to believe that the unknown would only bring pain and chaos. Now, I put my energy into trusting the universe, into believing she truly has my back, and I attract wondrous surprises that I am present to receive. 

I am learning people are truly multi-faceted and with patience, compassion, and curiosity, we have the opportunity to see the truth in one another. 

I accomplished reflecting on my response to a situation and recognizing "little me" still wants more when she gets a taste of the "good stuff." Adult me is ok now, able to comfort my younger self, and to give the "good" back to source knowing more will come in its own time. 

I delighted in witnessing the bravery of a fellow soul sister as she shared her vulnerability, in playing with different glazes in ceramics class, and in an unexpected exchange with an old friend.
