it’s ok to not be ok


Today, I am grateful for the wonderful people that fill my life, for my person, for my chosen family, for my bestie, for my soul sisters near and far, for my yoga community, for the kids I volunteer with, for the woman who cleans my house, for the men that help me care for my land, for my mentors, for my spiritual and business advisors, and for the strangers that unknowingly make me smile. 

I am learning how to recognize when I have done the footwork, to give the next steps to source, and sit comfortably in the gap. 

I accomplished holding space for a friend that is going through a challenging time. 

I delighted in exchanging morning texts with my person, in connecting with my mentor, in opening my curtains waiting for the snow to fall, and in watching little birds bounce across branches on the trees just outside my window.
