get out of yourself
Today, I am grateful for opportunities to get out of self. Volunteering with kids brings my heart joy, tires my body, and sets my mind free.
I am learning how to make space in my day for the things that bring me happiness and peace: meditation, yoga, being of service, walking the dog...
I accomplished recognizing when I was slipping into comparison and quickly redirected my mind to celebrate both our strengths and successes.
I delighted in seeing a crescent moon hanging over snow-capped mountains, in watching kids introduce themselves through their art, and in receiving a postcard from my dad.
