“You belong somewhere you feel free”



Today, I am grateful for my dog.  Picking him up after being gone for two weeks brought me tremendous joy. Seeing his happy squirrelly face smiling and watching him jump and wiggle around was a highlight of the day. 

I am learning how to be truly present.  This is the only chance we have to live this moment.  I am learning how to breathe it all in, how to cherish and seize the day. 

I accomplished recognizing and feeling anxious when my bonus sister asked to talk about my mom.  

I delighted in being home, in calling a friend I love, and in receiving birthday gifts from my parents.
