sit with what is
Today, I am grateful for the opportunity to teach kids how to use different techniques to make art, to express themselves, to share their voices and visions with the world.
I am learning the benefit of leaning into the things that scare me. There is a big difference between the fear that keeps us safe, that spike of your intuition when you know you may be in a situation that could result in harm, and the fear that holds us back, the one that’s rooted in insecurity and prevents us from being our best selves. Let the insecurity go, lean in, take the leap...it’s worth it.
I accomplished showing up for myself and my commitments. I accepted what was today, I remained flexible, and let flow guide me.
I delighted in having a conversation about the afterlife with a twelve-year-old, in seeing a beaver swimming up a canal, and in buying myself a gift.
