We are not our emotions. They are something we experience, something we witness.
Today, I am grateful for community, for diversity of thought, for humanity.
I am learning how to allow and investigate my emotions without gripping them.
I accomplished a relaxed approach to my day. I slept in a little, I left my work phone home when I drove to get a fancy coffee, and I left early to pack. The change of pace helps our minds and bodies reset so we can be more productive, more creative, more present.
I delighted in real talk and sushi with my soul sister, in receiving help from my mom, and in connecting with a woman who is going to make me a memory quilt.
