Rest when it calls you


Today, I am grateful for rest.  Grief is exhausting. 

I am learning to take care of myself.  And, to pay attention to how I am responding, particularly during times of turbulent emotions.  When I am in the middle of an emotional storm, I am more likely to slip back into codependent behaviors. 

I accomplished doing as little as possible to give myself the room to rest. 

I delighted in seeing a friendly face when treating myself to a delicious breakfast bowl.
