A prayer for death
Today, I am grateful for my soul sister. She showed up for me today, she always shows up when I need her, and sometimes when I don't realize how badly I need her until she's there. She is my person and I love her.
I am learning how to view others with compassion instead of judgement. We are all at different milestones in our journey, and when we greet one another with kindness instead of comparison we radiate love.
I accomplished completing things my uncle expressed as "unfinished," with the hope it would give him the peace of mind he needed to let go.
I delighted in holding my uncle's hand, in hearing him say he loves me, in a hug from my soul sister, and in laughing at the sight of two cows humping.
