Today, I am grateful for a knowledgeable physical therapist that is also patient, kind, and curious. I am learning to focus on body intuition and recovery milestones instead of being frightened by generic protocols. I accomplished having a productive conversation with my protector part. I delighted in feeling confident with my understanding of where I am in my recovery, knowing what I need to focus on, and what I need to avoid, in chocolate ice cream for dinner, and in crawling into bed super early.
